What is included in the rental price ? 

In addition to the rental cost, we charge $100/day to cover the cost of all utilities, gardening, pool service, and weekly cleaning for rentals longer than seven days. For regular usage, this fee will be sufficient. However, we reserve the right to deduct from the security deposit for costs above the amount collected for utilities and services.


When and how do we pay for our rental ?

We require 50% of the rental payment (plus $100/rental day for utilities and services) to secure your stay. The remaining rental payment is due one month before your arrival. In addition, we require a refundable security deposit of $3500 to be paid one month before your stay that will be returned within one month after your departure.

Payments can be made by bank transfers or by credit card.

We encourage guests to buy supplemental travel insurance in the unlikely event you need to cancel your booking due to illness, injury, death in the family, etc. Some credit card companies offer this type of travel insurance.


What other beaches have daily passes?

Atlantic Avenue in Amagansett - Lifeguard/Restrooms/Concession all available. Daily permits are available for $50.

Kirk Park in Montauk - Lifeguard/Restrooms/Concession available. Daily parking permits available for $35

There is more parking available at Hither Hills State Park in Montauk for $10/day from May 29 to Sept 12 and is free other times of the year.

Is daily parking available at East Hampton village beaches?

Daily Non-Resident Beach Parking Permits for Main Beach Lot 2 and Two Mile Hollow Beach will be available for purchase online for $50/day, on the ParkMobile App from May 15. Daily permits are only available Monday through Thursday after 1:00 PM after you have secured a parking space (no prepayments and no refunds). These are digital permits only and are linked to your license plate number.


How do you get to East Hampton from JFK Airport?

There is an AirTrain from the terminals at JFK to Jamaica Station. The Long Island Railroad (LIRR) has daily service from Jamaica Station to East Hampton Station.

East Hampton Retreat is about a 20 minute walk from the East Hampton Station. There are also Uber’s available in East Hampton.

The Hampton’s Jitney and Ambassador have bus service from Fresh Meadow in Queens to East Hampton. Refer to www.hamptonjitney.com for more details.

You could also rent a car from JFK and drive to East Hampton in about 2 hours.


What are the closest airports to the Hamptons?

New York City’s JFK and LaGuardia Airports are about 2 hours away from East Hampton. The MacArthur Airport (near Islip, Long Island) is about 90 minutes away from East Hampton.


When is check-in & check-out ?

Check-in is available after 4:00 p.m. and check out is at 10:00 a.m. During the peak summer season, it will almost impossible for us to accommodate an early check-in as it takes six hours between guests to prepare the home.

Do we Have a East Hampton Beach Parking Permit?

We do not provide a seasonal beach parking permit for guests. However, guests who are renting for one month or longer can register their car for a parking permit for a fee on the East Hampton Village website (easthamptonvillage.org). As the number of these permits is limited, we recommend applying on the earliest date possible as noted on the website.


What if I need to cancel my booking ?

Cancellations to bookings should be made in writing by email. Once we have received notice of the cancellation, we will try to re-rent the property for the rental period. If we are able to re-rent the property for the entire rental period, we will refund all monies paid less an administrative charge of 50 Euros.

If we are unable to re-rent the property for the rental period, all rental and service payments made will not be refunded.

How many cars can we accommodate?

We have a private outdoor parking area that accommodate up to three cars.


Can we have more than six guests?

To provide the best vacation experience, we are able to accommodate requests up to eight guests.


What services are provided for renters?

We provide weekly gardening and pool maintenance service as well as weekly cleaning service for guests staying more than one week. If there are any questions or issues during your stay, we have local representatives available.
